WMST-AM is a member of the Kentucky Broadcaster’s Association (KBA); The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB); and is a CBS News Radio and Kentucky News Network (KNN) affiliate. WMST-AM is also an Edward R. Murrow Award recipient for best newscast. This award is one of the most prestigious awards in news. Other winners include NPR.

Veteran radio host, Dan Manley, 65, is the host of Lexington – Fayette - Mt. Sterling's local radio show, “Mornings on Main.” Dan got into the radio field when he was 14 years old. He covered his first sports stories in high school. Dan received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in business administration from Morehead State University.
